How Solar-Powered Mini Splits Work
Photon AC solar mini splits use a DC-native variable-speed compressor that runs directly on DC voltage from the included solar panel array. During daylight hours the system operates primarily on solar; at night or under cloud cover it switches automatically to grid AC power. No batteries, inverters, or charge controllers are required.
